Child Safety

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

By 'safeguarding' we mean the process of protecting children from abuse or neglect, preventing impairment of their health and development, and ensuring they are growing up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care that enables children to have optimum life chances and enter adulthood successfully.

If you have any safeguarding concerns please report them by clicking the link below

On rare occasions we may have concerns about a student and this may mean that we have to consult with external agencies.  We follow the Department of Education Safeguarding guidance and work within their framework and good practice guidelines.
